NEW BETHLEHEM – “Long overdue” were the words used by many in attendance at the Redbank Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet on Saturday when discussing the recipients of the chamber’s top citizen and business awards.

After more than 75 years in business in New Bethlehem, with its owners and employees involved in countless community activities, Charles Leach was presented with the chamber’s Business of the Year Award for 2013.

Lifelong New Bethlehem resident Tim Murray, recognized for decades of volunteer work in the area, was presented with the Citizen of the Year Award.
